Tomatoes are a fruit; contrary to popular belief that places it in the vegetable group. You can use the tomato to relieve acne in the following ways:
1. Cut tomato slices and apply them directly on the face by rubbing and pressing lightly so that the skin absorbs the tomato juice. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Then remove it by washing your face with fresh water and gently wiping with a clean cloth.
2. Applying a tomato mask. Cut the tomato in half and using a spoon remove all the pulp you can, then apply this paste on your face. If you prefer you can also mix it with a little honey that helps to moisturize the skin. Leave the mask for 5 to 10 minutes and wash your face with cold water and a clean cloth.
3. Another option is to make the same tomato mask with the tomato pulp as explained above and mix it with a small avocado. Mix well and apply this paste on your face about 20 minutes. Avocado also helps to eliminate fat as well as soften the skin. Wash your face with warm water and a fresh cloth.
4. Wash a ripe tomato and put it into the blender.
Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the ground pulp. Put the mixture on your face, let it act for 15 minutes and rinse it. To give it more consistency, you can add a tablespoon of oatmeal, which cleans the pores and also helps fight acne, while acting as a gentle exfoliant and natural moisturizer.
